Friday’s secret warehouse show in Brooklyn with Nero and Chris Lake blew us away. The secret location, which was revealed to be a warehouse by the water in Sunset Park, fostered a feeling of a show that was incredibly well put together, finding a sweet spot on the delicate balance of being at capacity and having enough room on the dance floor to breathe. Chris Lake’s opening set marked the pace of the night with dark and groovy tech house, laying the foundation for what one would envision as a proper warehouse rave. Nero took that energy and ran with it, captivating the crowd with a progression of their best tracks from their new album.
