Close your eyes and imagine you’re on a rooftop overlooking the city. Imagine a perfect blue sky, punctuated by one wisp of a cloud. House music fills the air. It’s like a daydream. It’s All Day I Dream.
As much as we love the darkness of the underground, we make special exceptions for the lighter end of the spectrum with parties like All Day I Dream. The positivity and lightheartedness of the ADID crew are perfect complements to summer. What started as a Sunday Brooklyn rooftop party in 2011 has evolved into a global techno and house presence, from Burning Man to Governor’s Island. As we come off of one of New York’s most humid weeks in recent memory, we welcome tonight’s rain and Sunday’s ushering in of what’s shaping up to be a clear and beautiful All Day I Dream party, aptly named Islands in the Stream. The beautiful view of Manhattan coupled with the relief of blue skies is making this one of our most anticipated day parties of the year.
Lee Burridge will be taking the helm on Sunday, joined by Matthew Dekay and YokoO. The entire ADID crew has been hard at work in the studio and out, with a brand new podcast and YokoO slated to release a full EP in the coming months.
